Disconnect QuickBooks Online
This guide is for authorised internal users of Speedup Operations Platform, operated by Speedup Autoparts Pty Ltd. Visiting this page does not disconnect a company or revoke authorization.
Disconnect in the Desktop application
1. Sign in to the company-provided Desktop application with an active Manager or Owner account.
2. Go to Settings → QuickBooks, select the intended QuickBooks source, and select Refresh status.
3. Select Disconnect QuickBooks, review the confirmation, and confirm only if you intend to disconnect that source.
4. Check the local connection status and the remote revocation message. If the response is not received, select Refresh status before taking another action.
These steps apply to the Desktop version with the source selector. If your screens differ or the action is unavailable, contact support.
What disconnection does
Once local disconnection is saved, the selected source is disabled for subsequent QuickBooks data access and token refresh. Operations already in progress may finish; disconnection does not guarantee immediate cancellation of all in-flight requests.
The platform also attempts to revoke the authorization with Intuit. Remote revocation may fail or remain unconfirmed while local use stays disabled. Follow the Desktop message and contact support if needed. Use Retry Remote Revocation only when offered. Use Confirm Manual Revocation only after the authorization has actually been revoked through Intuit.
Disconnection does not automatically delete existing Cases, reports, audit records, or backups, and it does not delete or change QuickBooks accounting records. For deletion or privacy requests, contact sales@speedupautoparts.com.au. Requests are handled according to applicable business and retention requirements.
